A&B RECIEVES HIGH MARKS FOR HOSTING OF CARIBBEAN-EU PARLIAMENTARY ASSEMBLY

Antigua and Barbuda is being commended for its hosting of the First Plenary Session of the Caribbean – European Union Parliamentary Assembly, the latest in a string of international events to be staged in the twin-island state.

Lawmakers from Europe and the Caribbean gathered for three days of discussions on critical issues affecting both regions, within the context of the EU’s engagement with the Organisation of African, Caribbean and Pacific States, OACPS.

Visiting delegates and a member of Antigua and Barbuda’s foreign service spoke with ABS News, as the meeting drew to a close on Wednesday at the American University of Antigua.
