Major Upgrades Planned for Glanvilles Polyclinic to Boost Community Healthcare Access

Major upgrades are planned for the Glanvilles Polyclinic, aimed at improving access to quality healthcare for residents in the surrounding communities. The enhancements will include the addition of a pharmacy, a laboratory to conduct basic medical tests, as well as the introduction of a fire tender and ambulance services.

The announcement was made by Health Minister Sir Molwyn Joseph, who said the overarching objective is to ensure essential healthcare services are available within the community. This, he noted, will reduce the need for residents to travel to St. John’s or visit the main hospital for routine care, allowing them to receive timely treatment closer to home.

The minister was speaking at a Town Hall meeting where scores of supporters have gathered to support the candidacy of Randy Baltimore.
