Antigua and Barbuda and the People’s Republic of Bangladesh StrengthenCooperation during Bilateral Meeting at Commonwealth Foreign MinistersMeeting
London, United Kingdom – The Honourable E.P. Chet Greene, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Barbuda Affairs of Antigua and Barbuda, held a productive bilateral meeting with the Honourable Dr. Hasan Mahmud Rahman, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, on the margins of the Commonwealth Foreign Ministers Meeting held in London.
The meeting provided an opportunity for both ministers to reaffirm the friendly relationship between Antigua and Barbuda and Bangladesh and to explore areas for enhanced cooperation within the Commonwealth framework.
Minister Rahman underscored the enduring importance of the Commonwealth as a
platform for cooperation among developing countries, noting its continued relevance in promoting shared values, sustainable development, and collective resilience among member states. He emphasised Bangladesh’s strong commitment to strengthening collaboration with fellow Commonwealth partners, including Antigua and Barbuda.
