LONG-AWAITED WORK TO BEGIN ON ALL SAINTS ROAD

Rehabilitation work on All Saints Road is set to begin next week.

Cabinet notes say the Ministry of Works is already mobilizing equipment, materials and personnel for the job.

Officials say the project is meant to strengthen the roadway and make travel safer and smoother for both drivers and pedestrians.

At Thursday’s post-cabinet briefing, Director General for Communication in the Prime Minister’s Office, Maurice Merchant, made it clear the decision is also about speed.
