SENATE APPROVES AMENDMENTS TO TIGHTEN SPECIAL ECONOMIC ZONE LAW

Antigua and Barbuda has updated its Special Economic Zone law, placing strict new financial rules on both new and existing operators.

The amendments approved in the Senate on Tuesday are aimed at preventing money laundering and other financial crimes, while making clear Special Economic Zones are not outside the law.
