Members of Senator Shaquan O’Neil’s family have expressed their delight with his appointment.

Senator O’Neil was among ten government senators sworn in on Friday and is the country’s youngest-ever lawmaker appointed, at 22 years old.

His parents, Shawn and Earleen O’Neil, as well as sister, Jaeda O’Neil, spoke with ABS News at Government House on Friday morning.
