POLICE COMMISSIONER PROVIDES UPDATE ON FREEMANS VILLAGE MURDER PROBE

Two people are in custody assisting the police with their investigation into the country’s latest homicide.

The victim is 60-year-old Eleazer “Freshy” Francis, who operated a superette along Freemans Village Main Road.

Investigators say two gunmen alighted from a vehicle and entered the establishment about 8:30am Thursday.

Francis was later shot dead during what is suspected to have been a confrontation with the men.

Police Commissioner Everton Jeffers says law enforcers are committed to finding those responsible for the murder, which has sent shockwaves throughout the community.
