ATTORNEY EXPLAINS ‘CHILD DESTRUCTION’ LAW FOLLOWING PREGNANT WOMAN’S MURDER

A senior attorney has spoken with ABS News about why the murder of a pregnant woman would not automatically result in a second murder charge, and what other charge could potentially apply.

The questions have arisen following the murder of 20-year-old Bathlodge resident Saquania Anthony, who was pregnant.

Police have so far announced no charge specifically relating to her unborn child.
