VEHICLES COULD BE IMPOUNDED FOR AT LEAST TWO WEEKS IF TINT IS TOO DARK

Motorists whose vehicles are tinted beyond the legal limit could see their vehicles impounded for at least two weeks at the Government’s Motor Pool.

Cabinet reiterated its instruction to the police’s top brass on Wednesday to intensify enforcement of these regulations.

Director general of communications in the prime minister’s office, Maurice Merchant, is urging motorists to ensure their vehicles are in compliance with the tint requirements.

Otherwise, the vehicles could be impounded for assessment and tint removal.
