Two Additional Persons Charged in Connection with Murder of Mordecai Eleazar Francis

The Police have charged two additional persons in connection with the ongoing investigation into the murder of 60-year-old Mordecai Eleazar Francis of Swetes.

On Thursday, police arrested and charged 18-year-old Natking Thomas of Cashew Hill for the murder of Francis, while 18-year-old Dejonte Joseph of Bathlodge was arrested and charged with Accessory to Murder in connection with the same incident.

The offences stem from the fatal shooting of Francis, which occurred at Freeman’s Village on July 23, 2026. Both accused are expected to appear before the court today, Friday, September 25.

Meanwhile, police are continuing their search for a fourth suspect, Janiah Antoine, who remains at large. The police are once again appealing to Antoine to surrender himself peacefully at the nearest police station without further delay.
