SEAMLESS IMMIGRATION EXPERIENCE BECKONS FOR CITIZENS WITH LAUNCH OF NEW PLATFORM
Antiguans and Barbudans returning home will soon be able to clear immigration without a form or a passport stamp.
The Antigua and Barbuda Airport Authority, in collaboration with the Immigration Department, held the soft-launch on Thursday for Welcome Home Antigua and Barbuda, a biometric clearance system for citizens.
Under Welcome Home, citizens will no longer fill out the arrival form known as the E/D card.
Instead, they will clear immigration using facial recognition.
Registration is free, open only to Antigua and Barbuda passport holders, and is expected to begin operations on October 15.
