BARBADOS UWI STUDENTS JOIN IN INDEPENDENCE CELEBRATIONS

Antiguans and Barbudans overseas have also been embracing their national pride on this the country’s 38th year of independence.

Students at the Cave Hill UWI campus held their own flag raising ceremony early Friday morning.
The melodious sounds of the national anthem can be heard throughout the video leaving many of the overseas nationals smiling.
Many students opted to drape themselves in the national flag and elements of the national dress for the joyous occasion.
