BUS DRIVERS REACT TO PETROL SUBSIDY PLAN

The government is in discussions to provide a petrol subsidy for bus operators who transport passengers from rural Antigua to St. John’s.
It is intended to partly compensate for the reduced number of passengers they will again be required to transport to observe social distancing rules.
Cherilyn Beazer gauged reactions from drivers at the West Bus Station to this programme of assistance.
