CARICOM CHAIRMAN CONGRATULATES SLP

Prime Minister and Caricom Chairman, Hon. Gaston Browne has congratulated Hon. Phillip J. Pierre on leading his St Lucia Labour Party to victory in Monday’s polls.

The SLP trounced the United Workers Party of Prime Minister Allen Chastanet 13-2. The other two seats in the 17-seat legislature have been won by independent candidates, one of whom is former Prime Minister Stephenson King.

Prime Minister Browne has complimented Pierre for running a very good campaign and assures him of the full support of the government and people of Antigua and Barbuda.
