Cash Picked Up by ONDCP

In excess of EC twenty seven thousand dollars that was picked up by Customs Officers has been forfeited by financial watch dog, the Office of National Drug and Money Laundering Control Policy (ONDCP).

The cash was confiscated at the V.C. Bird International on 16th November 2012 when a LIAT passenger attempted to take the money out of Antigua without making a declaration under concealment.

Our reporter, Shawn Thomas, reports that the forfeiture occurred on Tuesday in the Magistrate Court.
