COURT HEARINGS AFFECTED BY COVID-19

The Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court has suspended all High Court criminal trials until further notice.

Chief Justice Dame Janice M. Pereira says this is among measures being put in place to protect court officers and the public from possible spread of the new coronavirus.

She says the court is constantly reviewing strategies and implementing measures to reduce exposure to the virus while still providing a means for the citizens and residents of the OECS to access justice.

Hand sanitizers have been installed at strategic locations at ECSC Headquarters and High Court registrars are encouraged to implement similar measures.
