ELECTRIC VEHICLES TO TRANSPORT MOST LEADERS AT CHOGM AS A&B INKS NEW DEAL

Prime Minister the Right Honourable Gaston Browne says most leaders attending the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) in Antigua and Barbuda this November, are expected to be transported in electric vehicles.

He says this is part of a new partnership to support a wider shift away from vehicles powered by internal combustion engines.

The disclosure was made as the prime minister attended the Global Citizen NOW: Impact Sessions, on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
