Police are continuing their search for more clues surrounding the disappearance and suspected murder of Vincia James.

ABS News understands divers were used by investigators to search the waterway in North Sound where a bag with her identification cards was found last Thursday.

No further clues were found by the drivers, but law enforcers say they will continue the search for the New Winthorpes resident who went missing in April 2017.

The plastic bag was found when an individual fishing in the waterway reeled it in on his line. Police have made it clear no skeletal remains have been discovered.

The discovery has been a fresh lead in the over 4-year mystery that has arrested the nation’s attention.

The 26 year old was last seen leaving her workplace at Dixies Betting Company on Old Parham Road on April 7, 2017.

Her ex-boyfriend Mikhail Gomes of Pigotts was charged with her murder in May 2017; he is now out on bail.
