Prime Minister Hon. Gaston Browne Tours The Island Of Montserrat

Prime Minister of Montserrat, the Honorable Premier Donaldson Romeo, is expressing gratitude to Prime Minister of Antigua and Barbuda, the Hon Gaston Browne, for a recent visit and tour of the Emerald Isle.

From the local front, PM Browne was on Monday accompanied by Ambassador Colin Murdoch.

Of the trip, PM Browne who is the first head of state to make an official visit to Montserrat, speaks fondly of the relations between the two small islands.

Prime Minister Browne continues that Montserrat is the closest island to Antigua, even more so than the sister isle Barbuda. He also adds that we are one and the same people. He gives some insight as to the recent talks.

The Honorable Premier of Montserrat, Donaldson Romeo, recalls that he met PM Browne at a recent Caricom meeting.

Calling him a 24-hour Prime Minister, Premier Romeo offered commendations to the Hon Gaston Browne and pledged his continued support to the leader of the twin-island state
