PRIME MINISTER UNVEILS MODEL OF HOMES FOR LOW-INCOME EARNERS

Prime Minister Gaston Browne has posted a model of the homes to be built by the government for individuals on lower incomes.
The head of government posted the photograph on his personal Facebook page on Monday.
In the caption for the photograph, the head of government says the house was built in Villa at Paradise Cove.
He says the houses won’t be quite complete- not being tiled or plastered to lower the cost to around 120- thousand dollars.
The housing project is geared towards benefiting those earning around 3- thousand dollars each month.
The government recently announced plans to build the 2-bedroom climate-resilient houses.
Prime Minister Browne says those who already own land and wish to have the houses constructed on their property will also be eligible for the homes.
National Housing is managing the project.
