SHELTER-AT-HOME ORDER FOR BERMUDA, AGAIN

Published

Bermuda will return to a shelter-at-home order beginning on Tuesday morning, for at least seven days, in an effort to reverse the effects of a surge in cases.

The news comes after Premier David Burt announced that he has tested positive for the virus.

Groceries, Gas Stations and Pharmacies will be the only businesses allowed to operate during the prescribed period. The time of operation would be between 11:00 am to 7:00pm. The grocery stores will also utilize alphabetized days for customers, a practice that was also used in the past.

Over the weekend, over 100 new cases of the disease were recorded, with two more deaths confirmed. The death toll now stands at 16.
