TWO CHARGED IN CONNECTION WITH ATTACK ON POLICE

Charges have been laid against a man and a woman after a police team was attacked in St Johnston Village on Sunday night.
Celando Delas Santos and Miguelina Germosen Ldannia Salis were charged with Malicious Damage among other criminal counts.
A police officer was injured and a police bus damaged extensively after stones and other missiles were reportedly hurled at a police team which was responding to reports of breaches of the law in the area. More during the ABS Evening News.
