UP TO 20% REDUCTION IN ELECTRICITY BILLS IF PETROCARIBE AGREEMENT REVIVED – PM BROWNE

There could be a significant reduction in electricity costs in Antigua and Barbuda if Venezuela’s Petrocaribe oil deal resumes.
Prime Minister and Finance Minister Hon. Gaston Browne estimates this reduction could be up to 20 per cent.
However, he tells ABS News the United States first needs to lift sanctions which have torpedoed the energy pact.
