UPP’S KELVIN SIMON SAYS PROMISED URLINGS PROJECT SCUPPERED BY LACK OF DONOR FUNDING
Incumbent United Progressive Party candidate for St Mary’s South, Kelvin Simon, is addressing concerns over his unfulfilled promise of a basketball complex in Urlings.
He says limited resources as an opposition MP have made major projects difficult to execute.
Simon says the Urlings project remains unfinished because funding from private donors which he relied on, has not materialised.
Simon argued that responsibility for community facilities, such as playing fields and courts, ultimately rests with the government.
