Schools Across The Nation Will Be Closed On Election Day

As the nation votes for a new government next Wednesday, schools will not be in session.

The Ministry of Education announced yesterday(Wednesday) that all public schools will remain closed on Election Day.

The Director of Education explains that most school plants will be used as polling stations.

With the March 21 elections only a week away, the release further states that Principals should be guided accordingly.

ABEC has announced that the number of polling stations has been increased amidst a growth in the number of electors.

The number moves from 164 to 172.
