New Executives Sworn In

The new executive was sworn in for the ABLP’s second term in office during two ceremonies at Government House.
The 13-member cabinet shows a mix of returning members, newcomers and some portfolios which have been adjusted.
We begin our recap with Prime Minister the Hon Gaston Browne taking the oath of office.
He thereafter spoke with members of the media, and one of the questions he addressed was the approach his administration will take to Barbuda.

Meanwhile, Attorney General and Minister for Legal Affairs, Public Safety and Labour the Hon Steadroy Benjamin was sworn in right after Prime Minister Browne.
He later spoke with members of the media about the government’s legislative agenda in this new term.

Meanwhile, the other 12 members of the cabinet were sworn in in a ceremony hours later.
