UWI FIVE ISLANDS CAMPUS A REALITY

Breaking news: Antigua and Barbuda is now officially the home of the fourth landed campus of the University of the West Indies. The confirmation came a short while ago from Vice Chancellor of the UWI, Professor Hilary Beckles. He called the establishment of the Five Islands campus a glorious moment and commended Prime Minister Hon. Gaston Browne, his government and the people of Antigua and Barbuda. Prof. Beckles says this is a major development for Antigua and Barbuda and the rest of the OECs, a region with the lowest enrollment in tertiary education in the hemisphere.
