CABINET CONSIDERS TRAVEL BUBBLE FOR CARICOM COUNTRIES
The Cabinet is considering a travel bubble that would eliminate the need for CARICOM citizens to quarantine for 14 days after entering Antigua & Barbuda.
Information Minister, the Hon. Melford Nicholas says negotiation will be held with individual countries to set up reciprocal arrangements.
Nonetheless, passengers travelling from countries within the bubble would still need to obtain a negative PCR test within 72 hours of boarding their flights.
The passengers must also be resident in the CARICOM country for 14 days before their flight.
The Minister says the bubble would also be of benefit to LIAT, which he says the government anticipates will be back in the skies soon.
