USAIN BOLT TESTS POSITIVE FOR THE CORONAVIRUS

World renowned sprinter Usain Bolt has tested positive for the coronavirus (COVID-19). He is now reportedly in self isolation at his residence. Bolt recently came in for severe criticism after holding a birthday party with a large number of guests. Photos revealed that neither Bolt nor his guests were wearing masks or social distancing.

There has been a surge in COVID-19 infections in Jamaica, with 116 new cases reported on Sunday. This was the country’s largest increase in a 24 hour period.

The total number of confirmed cases in the island presently stands at 1,529.
