PAAWS RECEIVES TIMELY DONATION

A US based, non-profit group, Greater Good Charities, has donated a 40 ft container loaded with dog and cat food to local animal shelter, Protect Antiguan Animals With a Smile, better known as PAAWS. Greater Good Charities, has been providing meals for shelter animals across the United States, that have been impacted severely by the Covid-19 pandemic. 

This donation comes at no better time, as PAAWS, like most organizations, has been struggling to stay afloat during the pandemic. This donation will feed over 100 animals for the next 5-6 months.  

In keeping with its charitable theme, PAAWS is spreading good cheer with other local animal charities and organizations  such as Dogs and Cats of Antigua as well as the K-9 unit of The Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda. 

PAAWS has been in existence for some 25 years, and over this period has been successful in rehabilitating and rehoming thousands of poor defenseless animals here on the island. The organization runs entirely on donations.
