UK HIGH COMMISSIONER PRAISES CEREMONIAL PARADE

The United Kingdom’s Non-Resident High Commissioner to Antigua and Barbuda has expressed delight at attending Monday’s Ceremonial Parade marking the nation’s 40th anniversary of independence.

Scott Furssedonn-Wood shared the sentiments during an interview on Tuesday’s Antigua Barbuda Today.

Officers of the HMS Medway were able to participate alongside other uniformed bodies at the invitation of the Chief of Defence Staff, Colonel Telbert Benjamin.

The High Commissioner was immensely pleased about this development.

While in Antigua and Barbuda, High Commissioner Furssedonn-Wood will hold talks with Governor General Sir Rodney Williams alongside Resident British Commissioner Lindsy Thompson.
