DECEMBER 23 IS THE LAST DAY OF THE SOE

Next week Thursday will be the last day of the State of Emergency, which has been in effect since March 2020.
Parliament’s Lower House approved a resolution to lift the measure, which will result in the curfew being ended as well.
There was intense debate in the legislature on Thursday as lawmakers reviewed the response to the pandemic and examined the post-SOE reality.
Prime Minister Hon. Gaston Browne also underscored the importance of personal responsibility in ensuring the safety of all.
