Call being made for CARE Project Funding.

A call is being made for residents to assist the CARE Project, which caters to children who are disabled and have been abandoned.

Volunteer, Annette Cary explains that the children under the project vary in age from three to 21 years. She outlines what is needed to adequately care for the group.

She adds that new beds, clothing, bedding, soft toys, colouring books and volunteers are also needed.

Paddy Pendegrast, Manager of Asha Otto and The Itchy Feet is delighted to be helping such a worthy cause and concurs with the need for extensive repairs and a special needs teacher.

He explains that the cost is not astronomical.
