PM BROWNE SAYS IMF’S 6% GROWTH FORECAST FOR ANTIGUA AND BARBUDA IS CONSERVATIVE
Prime Minister and Finance Minister, Hon. Gaston Browne is confident the country’s economy will outperform growth forecasts from the International Monetary Fund.
The Washington-based multi-lateral has projected the economy will experience growth in real Gross Domestic Product of 6% for the 2022 fiscal year.
However, the Prime Minister expects that figure to be exceeded as he points to projects driving increased economic activity.
