HIGH SURF AFFECTS WATER PRODUCTION AT TWO REVERSE OSMOSIS PLANTS
Water production has been reduced at two reverse osmosis plants as a result of seas being churned by high surf.
The rough seas are affecting the Ffryes Beach and Fort James RO facilities.
The conditions resulted in the recent temporary cessation of production at the Fort James plant, which produces 500,000 imperial gallons of water daily.
