FORMER JOLLY BEACH RESORT EMPLOYEES BEGIN RECEIVING SEVERANCE PAYMENTS

Many collected their cheques at the Antigua and Barbuda Workers Union offices for severance and other outstanding amounts.
The hotel was shuttered in 2020, but the pay-out was made possible by the Government’s intervention to acquire the property and provide the funds for the settlement.
The distribution of cheques continues on Friday.
