CABINET APPROVES OVERTIME PAYMENTS TO QUARRY AND ROAD UNIT STAFF

Cabinet has approved the payment of outstanding overtime sums to workers at the quarry and road unit.
The funds will be paid from the Citizenship by Investment Programme, CIP.
The announcement comes as the newly-appointed Works Minister, Hon. Maria Browne says a rapid response team has been established to expedite road repairs.
Information Minister Hon. Melford Nicholas underscores the operations at the quarry are crucial to the success of this exercise.
