GOVERNMENT MOVES CLOSER TO TACKLING EYESORE OF DERELICT BUILDINGS

The Government has finalized plans to remove derelict houses in St John’s, as part of efforts to improve the capital’s aesthetics.

There is also a safety imperative, as criminals often use these structures as cover for their malign activities.

Cabinet held discussions on the issue on Wednesday, including what this is likely to mean for the owners of these properties.
