LAYER FARMERS ASSOCIATION COMMENTS ON RETAIL PRICES FOR EGGS

Managing Director of the Antigua and Barbuda Layer Farmers’ Association, Adrian Hall, says the retail cost of eggs is sometimes too high.

He was speaking with ABS News amidst continuing national discussions about the egg market.

Cabinet’s intervention has resulted in a deferral of the wholesale price increase recently announced by the Association, meaning a dozen eggs remains at $12.00.
