‘THEY CANNOT WIN’ – PM BROWNE SCOFFS AT UPP LEGAL CHALLENGE TO ANTHONY SMITH’S ROLE

Prime Minister Hon. Gaston Browne has poured cold water on a constitutional claim from the opposition United Progressive Party regarding Independent MP, Anthony Smith Jr.

The UPP is challenging the independence of MP Smith, given that he has been appointed to the cabinet.

The case was adjourned to November 5 when it came up in the High Court last week before Justice Jan Drysdale. Prime Minister Browne believes the opposition is wasting its time.
