GOVERNMENT MOVES TO RECOVER OUTSTANDING TAXES FROM ELON MUSK’S STARLINK

Cabinet says every effort will be made to secure outstanding sales taxes from international telecommunications company, Starlink. Cabinet says the company which is owned by the world’s richest man, Elon Musk, has been serving customers in Antigua and Barbuda, but paying no ABST to the government.

Starlink’s technology utilizes satellites in low-earth orbit, allowing for connectivity in the most remote regions of the globe. It has been offering high-speed internet across more than 100 countries and territories.

Details are expected to be unveiled in this morning’s post-cabinet media briefing.
