Antigua and Barbuda and the 55 other member states of the Commonwealth are set to see a surge in trade among themselves in coming years.
Commonwealth Secretary-General Shirley Botchwey has outlined plans to more than double intra-commonwealth trade by 2030.
She also tells ABS News in an exclusive interview that a new fund is to be set up to benefit Antigua and Barbuda and other member states to help achieve their sustainable climate goals.
The secretary-general is in Antigua and Barbuda as momentum builds for the country’s historic hosting of next year’s Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting, CHOGM.
