FORT ROAD MAN SHOT MULTIPLE TIMES

A Fort Road man was rushed to Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre early Friday after being shot by unknown assailants outside his residence. 

Louis Armstrong Jr suffered multiple gunshot wounds to his face and upper torso and remains in critical condition under medical supervision in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).  Authorities indicate Armstrong Jr suffered major blood loss and is in dire need of blood. 

Police are currently investigating and are appealing to anyone with information to call the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) at 462+3913 or 462-3914 or the TIPS Hotline at 800-TIPS (800-8477).
