COUNTDOWN TO CHOGM – A&B 100 DAYS AWAY FROM HOSTING MAJOR SUMMIT

Antigua and Barbuda is 100 days away from its historic hosting of the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) in November.

Head of the national taskforce for CHOGM and Foreign Affairs Minister, Hon. E.P. Chet Greene, is urging Antiguans and Barbudans to get ready.

Well over 5,000 delegates are expected to converge on the twin-island state in the first week of November for the summit.

Antigua and Barbuda is among 56 nations comprising the Commonwealth, with a total of 2.7 billion people, or a third of the globe’s population.
