AIRPORT AUTHORITY BOOSTS RESPONSE CAPACITY WITH CUTTING-EDGE EQUIPMENT

The Antigua and Barbuda Airport Authority is now in a better position to respond to any aircraft emergency at V.C. Bird International Airport, following the acquisition of state-of-the-art equipment.

Aircraft rescue and firefighting vehicle and a fully equipped ambulance were handed over Tuesday, as part of a major push to modernise emergency response at the country’s main port of entry.
