Police Play

The Lion’s Den became the center of theatrics on Wednesday as the Police Drama Group staged its 2011 Police play, entitled “Trapped”.

The play forms part of the lawmen’s 2011 Police week activities.

The drama, written and directed by Owen Jackson, featured the life of a young married couple whose marriage is affected by verbal and physical abuse.

The play seeks to open the public’s eyes to the harsh reality of domestic abuse which is still prevalent in local society.

From all reports, the show was a success which kept the audience entertained throughout its duration.
