V.C Bird International Airport & Surrounding Areas Receives Mosquito Control

A Ministry of Health official says mosquito control is now a major priority at the VC Bird International Airport.

Passengers leaving and entering the island’s lone airport have been complaining about the area being infested with mosquitoes, which poses a discomfort when using the facility.

Chief Health Inspector Lionel Michael noting the numerous concerns which the Central Board of Health has received says vector control will be focusing in the airport area effective Tuesday.
