MACAIDS Gives Funding To 3 Local Organizations Fighting HIV/AIDS

Three local organizations serving populations vulnerable to HIV/AIDs are to benefit from grant funding from MACAIDS. They will share approximately 60 thousand United States Dollars.

Female Spanish Sex Workers, Women Vulnerable to Gender Based Violence and Marginalized Youth are the targets under the AIDS Secretariat, Women Against Rape and the Planned Parenthood.

Officials from the Caribbean Vulnerable Communities Coalition working on behalf of and for populations most vulnerable to HIV are on island to sign the contracts.

Monica Browne is Project Coordinator of CVCC. She is expressing satisfaction at the new partnership that has been formed with the AIDS Secretariat.

The funding in this instance is acquired from MACAIDS.

One hundred percent of sales from the Mac Cosmetics Line Viva Glam Lip Gloss and Lip Stick goes towards serving people of all ages, races and sexes affected by or are at high risk of HIV/AIDS.
