Ambassador Welcome US Moves

The Cuban Ambassador to Antigua and Barbuda, Gustavo Veliz O-li-var-es, sees the U.S. Government’s decision to lift sanctions against Cuba …as a step in the right direction.
In an ABS News exclusive…Ambassador Veliz says he welcomes the move and the possibilities for improved relations between the two neighbours.
However, he says it is important to note that the U.S blockage of Cuba continues.

Ambassador Veliz says he is particularly happy that the new arrangements between the U.S. and Cuba include the release from U.S. prisons three Cubans, who were part of what is known as ‘the Cuban Five’.
