Tourism Funds Injections

Government plans to inject close to four million dollars in direct tourism marketing.

Minister of State within the Ministry of Finance and Corporate Governance, Senator Lennox Weston, says there is provision for an advance warrant for the monies to be used to further promote the country’s tourism product.

Speaking to ABS News, Weston says this is part of an emergency tourism marketing plan, which should bear fruit in the upcoming winter season.

He is confident that this will assist in boosting the sector, which is already doing well.
